Passport?

This morning woke up early just to go to the building near Lavender train station to have my passport photo changed and updated for tomorrow's Malaysia trip with wen jie and boon....
Disappointing... They actually do not allow update of passport photo anymore!.. if you want to update your passport photo you will have to make a new passport! and from what the person tell me.. It will take 2 weeks to process...

This means that i will not be able to go to Malaysia tomorrow with them .. and that lead to them not going as well!... However it stills puzzle me why they do not allow update of passport photo anymore>.
